BE Inspired #43 - {Chill Out}

Thanks for stopping back this morning - I've got a BE Inspired Challenge to share with you all. Considering Christmas isn't too far away, it seems only fitting that Alison would pick a wintery-themed photo:

In a HUGE departure from the norm, I decided NOT to go with the colors in the photo, but with the snowflake inspiration instead.  I KNOW...am I sick??? LOL  I promise you, I am totally fine.  But, truth be told, I wanted to play along with the color combo over at the CAS- Colors and Sketches blog and this is what they gave us:

Pretty nice Christmas-y colors, don't you think?  So I grabbed the snowflakes from Chill Out and used this week's sketch from CAS(E) This Sketch to create this fast and fun card:

I hope you are all staying warm wherever you are - it's still awfully chilly here...makes me wish I was retired and could go south for the winter!!  If you are stuck inside, you should go into your craft area and play along with us - we love to see what you create.

BE Inspired #42 & CTS55

Happy Friday, everyone!  Thanks for stopping by today - I've got a brand new BE Inspired Challenge to share with you.  As most of you know, it is Thanksgiving in the U.S. next week and Alison has chosen an amazing photo to inspire your creations for the next two weeks:

For my card, I went with the obvious Thanksgiving theme as well as the colors in the photo.  The sketch is from CAS(E) This Sketch:

The stamps used are from The Alley Way Stamps' sets Calypso and Give Thanks:

Hello crafty friends! I'm back with another fun BE Inspired Challenge over at The Alley Way Stamps.  This week's photo is the PERFECT accompaniment to this month's new release, Breakfast Club - take a peek:

For my card, I combined this week's Color Throwdown with the new Freshly Made Sketches:

In addition to using the coffee cup and coffee beans from the Breakfast Club set, I used bits of words from In Stitches as well... I love how all the fonts blend together so seamlessly.  :)

BE Inspired #40 & Retrosketches

Hey everyone!  Halloween is just a week away - are you a fan of this holiday? Personally, I am not fond of it but the papers and stamps are pretty cute and so when I saw this week's Be Inspired Challenge, I figured I could make a fun card using some TAWS lovelies.

Here's the inspiration photo:

I went very literally with this inspiration photo and used the black and orange colors to make a Halloween card using stamps from Bumps in the Night:

{BE Inspired #39} & {Seize the Sketch #5}

Welcome back for another fun BE Inspired challenge over at The Alley Way Stamps blog!  As we are getting closer to Halloween, it seems only fitting that this week's picture be related to this fun holiday - take a peek:

I can think of many ways to create something inspired by this fun photo - let your imagination run wild.  :)  I wasn't feeling very wild or imaginative so I went with my trusted stand-by - the colors!  I combined them with a simple sketch from Seize the Sketch and created this:

The images are from one of this month's new releases, Bacon Bits. I am in love with the vintage-retro feel of the fan, aren't you?

As usual, I went with the colors in the photos...the orange and aqua and brown.  They are so much fun, it made me think about a party so decided to make a birthday card using sentiments from Wish BIG and yesterday's sneak peek set, Chill Out:

BE Inspired #37 & CAS(E) this Sketch #44

T.G.I.F. everyone!!!  Are you as happy as I am that is it Friday again?  It's been two weeks since our last BE Inspired challenge over at The Alley Way Stamps blog and this week Alison has an AWESOME inspiration photo for us all - take a peek:

What do you think?  There are so many ways you could go with this one - wanna guess what I did?  :)   If you can believe it, I went with the color inspiration.  I know!  BIG shock there, hey?  For my card, I used this month's free-with-purchase set, Pointers, and a sentiment from Jibber Jabber.  Seriously, this card took me less than 15 minutes:

The Alley Way Stamps - BE Inspired #35 and DS114

Hello again! It's time for a new BE Inspired Challenge over at The Alley Way Stamps blog.  Alison has found a great photo this time around (well, she does every time...) - totally inspires some CAS designs, IMHO:

I still hadn't inked up this month's new Crazy Circuits set so I thought these colors were PERFECT for a masculine, robot birthday card.  I found this week's Deconstructed Sketch and got to work:

There ya go!  Another CAS design from yours truly.  Wanna play along??  All you have to do is make a project using TAWS stamps and the above inspiration photo.  What?  You don't HAVE any TAWS stamps?  Why the heck not???  :)  OK, OK...Alison has a bunch of freebie digi stamps here that you can use until you give in and order some real ones.  :)

BE Inspired 34 at The Alley Way Stamps

Hi everyone! Are you ready for my fourth post in as many days?  This time I'm sharing the new BE Inspired Challenge over at The Alley Way Stamps blog.  Every two weeks, Alison gives us an inspiration picture and we have to create something awesome.  Here is the new photo:

For my card, I found a totally CAS sketch over at CAS(E) this Sketch and went with a very literal interpretation of it:

As you can see, I took the inspiration from the colors and the stripes for my card.  Not sure I've ever seen a striped flower before but when you're crafting, anything goes, right?  ;)  I used images from the TAWS sets, Awesome Blossom, Petal Pushers and Wish BIG on this one.
