And the Party Continues at There She Goes Clear Stamps!

Welcome back to another fun-filled week everyone!  Have you been playing along with all of the fun and games this month at the There She Goes blog?  Jessica has had some really fun games, sneak peeks and a New Release chat and now, for our last week of the month-long celebrations, she's got a couple things up her sleeve - Project Puzzle is this week's challenge AND we are partnering up with Melissa and the girls over at Tuesday Morning Sketches for their challenge this week!  How fun is that?  And guess what else?  Jessica is so super-awesome that each Trendsetter has been given the opportunity to give away a mini-set on their blog - and TODAY it is my turn!  All you have to do is leave me some comment-love and we will pick one lucky person using Random.org - easy peasy!

For my card, I wanted to make a birthday card (since we ARE celebrating TSG's birthday) but realized I don't really have any TSG birthday sets yet so I used Zoo-pendous and tried to make it work as best as I could.  I also used the CR84FN Color Challenge - don't you love these fall colors?

And here's this week's sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches:

And my card:

Thank you for stopping by today - don"t forget to leave me some love to be entered for a chance to win a TSG mini set - you'll be glad you did.  :)  See you later - enjoy your week!

The TSG Birthday Celebration Continues!

Hi everyone!  Are you enjoying your week?  Have you been over to the There She Goes blog yet?  Jessica has some fun riddles for you to solve and then you will be entered to win a $10 G.C. to spend in the TSG store!  How fun is that?  Being a new Trendsetter, it was fun to go through each of the riddles and search for the corresponding stamp set... I found some new ones that I have added to my Wish List.  :)

This week I decided to use one of my new TSG stamp sets, Flowers of Happiness, and combine it with Arielle's Colour Q combo for this week...it was harder than I thought it would be:

My card is loosely based on this week's Tuesday Morning Sketches sketch - I only used one panel and made mine horizontal instead of vertical...

Stamps: Flowers of Happiness (TSG)  Ink: Basic Gray  Paper: Poppy Parade, Tempting Turquoise, Basic Gray, Certainly Celery, Whisper White  Accessories: Copic (R27), paper piercer, Apron die (TCP), buttons, twine, Swiss Dots embossing folder

Thanks for stopping by today - take a few minutes to pop over to the TSG blog and solve some riddles.  Trust me, you would DEFINITELY be able to spend that $10 on this month's upcoming new releases...it is an AWESOME release!  Enjoy your day!

Sentimental Sundays - Inspired by Song

Only one more week... are you ready?  I'm slowly getting there - mostly done but since we are traveling to my sister's, the pressure is on to get it all done before we leave.

This week's challenge at Sentimental Sundays is a fun one - "Inspired by Song."  You can choose any song you want and don't forget to include a sentiment!  Since we *are* in the Christmas season, I kind of wimped out and chose a Christmas song, "Walking in a Winter Wonderland."

I {heart} Arielle's colourQ combination this week - I haven't used Ruby Red for a LONG time so I was really happy to see it in her combo:

I haven't played with Melissa's Tuesday Morning Sketches for quite awhile and when I saw this week's, I knew it was perfect for the image I wanted to use:

I had to make my card a 5-1/4" square to accommodate my trees but I think I made the sketch work:

Stamps: Lovely as a Tree (SU!), Medallion (SU!), Sleigh Ride (Flourishes)  Paper: Whisper White, Kiwi Kiss, Chocolate Chip, Bermuda Bay, SU! DSP  Ink: Bermuda Bay, Chocolate Chip  Accessories: Paper piercer, Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder, Kiwi Kiss corduroy buttons, Sookwang adhesive sheets, sugar beads, silver cord, dimensionals

Here's a close-up - so sparkly and wintry:

We'll see you back here tomorrow for a new Picture Perfect Creations Color Challenge - have a great day!

Flowers Are The Music of Life...

Hi again!  Three posts in one day?  I haven't had time to do that in a long time.  Hopefully I will have more time to do that now that I am only working mornings... woohoo!

So, when I got home today I perused the blogs and came across this very, shall we say, *interesting*, color combination from the Play Date Cafe.  When I first saw the picture I thought, "EWWWWWW!"  But, what is a challenge if it's not a *challenge*?

I had to think long and hard about how I was going to incorporate all of the colors in one card and then I remembered Melissa Craig's Tuesday Morning Sketch and knew it would work:

Recipe: Stamp: Floral Symphony (Verve)  Ink: Cajun Craze  Paper: Cajun Craze, Whisper White, Tempting Turquoise, Chocolate Chip, Melon Mambo  Accessories: paper piercer, adhesive pearls, sponge dauber, Chocolate Chip satin ribbon, Nested Flower & Circles Nesties, Perfect Polka Dots EF, Floral Symphony EF, sewing machine

Okie dokie - that's it for me today.  It's almost suppertime and the eldest should be calling soon to be picked up from his volleyball game.  Enjoy your evening - see you again soon!

Have I said how THRILLED I am that Riding Hood Red is coming back???  Now I don't have to hoard my RHR supplies!  :o)  I also {heart} the new Daffodil Delight that SU! is bringing in.  Lucky for me, my "enabler", Lori, has her pre-order and gave me a sheet of CS to play with for this challenge:

I used Melissa Craig's Tuesday Morning Sketch:

Paperworks Co. Blog Hop Extravaganza!

I'm so glad you've joined us for Paperwork Co.'s first Friends and Family Blog Hop!  I am so excited to be part of such a fun and talented group of ladies.  If you arrived here from Danielle's blog, then you have come to the right place.  If you have just started on this hop, please hop over to the PWCO main blog and get started there.

So, what have I made for you?  Well, I used the VERY cute Peppy Tinheart - can you believe this is the first time she's seen ink???  *gasp*  I used Melissa Craig's Tuesday Morning Sketch to help inspire a layout although I did make some minor alterations.  :)  I'm sure no one is surprised by that... *wink*

Here's the cutie patootie:

Recipe - Stamps: Peppy Tinheart & Rocko Tinheart (sentiment) ~ PWCO
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black
Paper: Old Olive, Baja Breeze, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White, DP (SU! retired)
Accessories:  Paper piercer, clear embossing powder, Copics, grosgrain ribbon, button, hemp twine, adhesive pearls, circle punch, dimensionals

I had so much fun working with these stamps!  I *shouldn't* order any more but I have a feeling that may not be enough to convince me...

Thanks for stopping by to join in the fun.  Don't forget to leave a comment on each stop along the way because Peg is generously giving away some goodies at random to some lucky commenters - it could be YOU!  Here's the list of Blog Hop stops:

As you can see, Tanya is the next stop -  so off you go!  ENJOY!

Happy Sunday!  Are you all ready for another Curtain Call?  This one had me stumped for awhile but I think I managed to come up with a decent attempt.

My immediate thought when I glanced at these colors for the first time was, "WTH is Stacey doing picking Halloween colors?" and then I saw the Pink Pirouette in there... um????  Are you kidding?

Well, okay... I guess I have to make them work.  I went in search of a sketch and found a lovely one over at Melissa Craig's Tuesday Morning Sketches:
I was tempted to use another Pure Innocence girlie but controlled that urge and dug out the Verves... I totally {heart} these Plain Janes...

Recipe - Stamps: Hebrews 11:1 Plain Jane (Verve)  Ink: Versafine Onyx Black  Paper: Whisper White, Pink Pirouette, Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, SU! DSP  Accessories: Paper piercer, Nestabilities, clear embossing powder, pink pirouette grosgrain ribbon, felt and velvet flowers, button, hemp twine, black brads

Make sure to stop in and visit the other Curtain Call girls:

I hope you'll have some time this week to come and play with us - we love to see your interpretation of the colors!  Thanks, as always, for stopping in!  See you tomorrow!
