Challenge #3 at the 4 Crafty Chicks!

Hello everyone!  What a week I've had so far - my supposedly indestructible Mac cratered on Sunday morning - it would turn on but refused to boot past the lovely Apple/spinning gear screen.  *sigh*  It's scary to realize how much info is on there that I depend on for day to day stuff - not to mention the iTunes library my son is worried about!  And now I'm having trouble with the photo-editing software I have to make-do with so if my pictures look wonky, I apologize.  :)  LOL

But enough moaning and groaning....  We've got another fun and fabulous 4 Crafty Chicks Challenge - this week's hostess with the mostess is Tamie and she is challenging us to use embossing on our projects.  You all know how much I {love} embossing so this was an easy challenge for me.

I totally love that I get to play with Stacey's Curtain Call Color Challenge for FUN now - not that it wasn't fun before but, well, you know what I mean!  The colors she picked this week are rather subdued compared to some of the recent combos, but I think they're fabulous:

I combined it with this week's Mojo Monday sketch created by the super-awesome Teresa Kline:

And here ya go:

Recipe - Paper: Whisper White, Early Espresso, Kraft, To the Nines DSP (SU!)  Ink: Early Espresso, Sahara Sand, Always Artichoke  Accessories: Paper piercer, MS Optic Dot border punch, adhesive pearls, SU stencil, sponge daubers, Kraft taffeta ribbon, button, hemp twine, Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder, Paisley embossing folder, sentiment rub-on

I hope you will join us at the 4 Crafty Chicks for our embossing challenge - we will award three "Golden Egg" awards for our top three picks.  You have until Tuesday, September 21 at 11:59 MST to submit your project - have fun with embossing

Hey girl sorry to hear about your Mac...hopefully the music is okay. Your card looks great with the embossing and I love your take on the Curtain Call Colors. To funny that we both used it with totally different takes on it. Have a great day.
