Color Q #31 - Just For You...

Happy Tuesday, peeps!

It has been quite the day here... Old Man Winter decided that he isn't *quite* ready to go away and has given us a bunch more *white stuff*.  I had to go to town this morning and, let me tell you, the roads were a mess!  I couldn't drive any faster than about 60-70 km./hour because the slushy snow on the road pulled me all over the place.  BUT - I made it there and back in one piece and destressed the only way I know how to... crafting.  :)

Arielle has an interesting combination for us this week over at Colour Q, but I have to say, I kind of like it...

She also has an additional *twist* to go along with the regular challenge:  "A random player will be chosen to win a new pack of Stampin' Up! designer series paper, Island Oasis. HOWEVER - the twist is, in order to win you have to enlist a buddy to play along this week as well! You & your buddy need to list each other's names in your entry blog post... if one of you is randomly picked to win & we verify your buddy's entry as well - BOTH OF YOU GET A PACK OF PAPER!"

So - I called my good friend, Lori, and asked her if she'd be up for the challenge.  Of course, she said she would.  :)  Go visit and see what she came up with - it's BEYOOTIFUL!
I also used Sketch Saturday's sketch for this card:

Here ya go:

Recipe - Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes (Stampin' Up!)  Paper: Certainly Celery, Brilliant Blue, Crushed Curry, Tempting Turquoise, SU! DP (Razzleberry Lemonade, Flock Together)  Ink: Brilliant Blue  Accessories: Swiss Dots embossing folder, paper piercer, Two-Step bird punch, Sizzlits Little Leaves, Nestabilities

All in all, this was a pretty simple card to put together - I think it took me less than about an hour from start to finish... for me, that's quick!  :)

Thanks for stopping by - enjoy the rest of your Tuesday!
