The Shabby Tea Room Goes Glitter Crazy!

Who doesn't love a little bitta' glitter?  Well, if this sounds like it might be right up your alley, then this week's challenge over at The Shabby Tea Room is for you!  Jill has challenged us to "Get Your Bling On" and make a project with glitter...the more, the merrier!

I have to admit that glitter is NOT something I use on a regular basis - I find it to be one of the messiest supplies a crafty girl can use and I am NOT very careful when I use it.  More often than not, I get more glitter on me and my desk than on the card!  And if you look carefully at *this* card, you'll see that there is glitter in MANY cracks and crevices... :)

Recipe - Stamp: Well Scripted (SU!)  Paper: Bermuda Bay, Very Vanilla, Basic Grey  Accessories: Grungeboard Swirl (Tim Holtz), paper flowers, Martha Stewart glitter, mod podge, rhinestone brad, heat'n'stick powder, Versamark, heat tool, satin ribbon, button, hemp twine, Perfect Polka Dots EF, Divine Swirls EF, paper flowers

I used Mod Podge to paint the swirl and the flowers and then applied the glitter and let them dry before attaching them to the card.  I tried to keep the rest of the card as simple as possible since I didn't want it to look too "gaudy"... (that's still a word, right?)  I used Heat'n'Stick powder and Versamark for the glittery sentiment.
