I cannot believe how many people post weekly challenges!! THANK YOU to you ALL!! LOL I was checking out Laura's Blog and noticed that she did Beate's Weekly Sketch Challenge. Now, I've seen Beate's name A LOT around Splitcoast but didn't realize she had a weekly challenge. . . another one to add to my growing list!
So, this was the sketch:

I realize I changed my layout a bit from the original sketch but I *SO* wanted to use my new, never-before-seen-ink "Inspired By Nature" stamps and I just couldn't make it happen with Beate's sketch the way it was.
I think I did a pretty good job of staying to the intended "feel" of the original layout. I still have the circles in the top left corner and the main image is a rectangle. . .right???? ;)
I used Ski Slope DP AGAIN (are you all sick of it yet???) Another card where I had to use my Coluzzle for larger circles. . . have I mentioned how excited I am to get my Nesties??? I used my corner rounder (without the guide) on the big, olive circle to make it scalloped and my ticket corner for the main image.
Some of you nature purists out there are probably saying to yourselves, "I have NEVER seen a coneflower in those colors before. . ." Well, I haven't either but isn't that what creative license is all about??? *giggle* I added some ribbon, paper-poked some of the edges and . . . VOILA! Another card sketch challenge for the books!
Thanks for stopping in today - it's cold and grey here. Definitely a "stay home and craft" day! See you tomorrow!
